Anthony Field

Anthony Field was born on May 8, 1963 in Sydney, Australia. A musician and actor, he is best known for his role as a Wiggles group member, always donning a blue shirt.

Prior to his success as a Wiggle, Field was part of a band known as the Cockroaches with his two brothers, Paul and John and current Wiggle member, Jeff Fatt.

As a teenager, Field graduated from St. Joseph's College in Hunters Hill and, after forming the Cockroaches, enrolled at Macquarie University to study early childhood education. For three years, from 1982 - 1985, Field took a short music hiatus in order to serve in the Australian army. On missions, he was often found playing the bagpipes.

While at Macquarie University, Field met the former Wiggles members, Murray Cook and Greg Page. Not long after, Jeff Fatt joined the group. A preschool teacher for two years, as soon as the Wiggles success took off, Field was forced to quit.

In 2003, Field married his girlfriend, Michaela Patisteas and had three children with her. His children often appear on the hit television show or in numerous videos.

In April 2007, the Wiggles were featured on the U.S. version of Deal or No Deal. Field was not able to attend the show's taping in order to be at home for the birth of his child.
